Girl is well prepared disappeared may be to marry her chosen one. Here girl as well as parents are at fault.I am quite sure parents must have known her loveria ,and wanted to get her marry to a boy chosen by them. She had no option made her own preparation ,and last minute disappeared.Shame to girl and parents. She should have been bold enough to deny ,say not to marry. Both sides whole expenditure ,shame could have been saved.Parents too should think of their childrens happiness and be ready to willing to choose their life partner. There are good sides and bad in both ways......One should only be well prepared for this step in life. Not overnight run and marry your lover .

Girls please don't do this, if you are love with someone, inform your parents, still parents are not ready for that talk with Community people or organisation, get marry as per country, community law.
What you are gain now? lost relation with your parents, and family, how you can show your face to your community or your born place, ?
Do you know feelings of your parents,
and also from Boy's and his family feelings?

    Roshan,

The solution not as simple as you suggest. If a girl loves somebody, she must first scan his Gotra, caste, besides his religion.

The same applies to a boy too. Our society is not kind to inter-religious unions but families don't agree if even caste is different if she/he chose in the same religion. They then set off to kill them over family-honor.

Best is, that parents instill in their children's mind from childhood, guidelines about what kind of SIL or DIL they seek, than driving our youngsters to elopement or suicide at a later state.

One keeps hearing of the disappearing acts...

Some disappear a month before the wedding, others a week before, yet others on the wedding day itself!

My recommendation to people...if you are not married yet...wait for a long time.
