Mangaluru, Feb 27: Adithya Rao, who faces the allegation of planting an explosive device at Mangaluru International Airport here, has fallen sick. He stands admitted into the district Wenlock Hospital here. Therefore, the identity parade that was planned to be held on Wednesday to enable witnesses to identify him from among a line of people did not happen.

Adithya had escaped after planting the device at the airport. It had been decided to hold an identity parade to enable 15 witnesses who had seen him that day to point him out.

The matter had been taken up with Mangaluru tahsildar well in advance and arrangements had been made to hold the identity parade on Wednesday.
