Mangaluru: Sahyadri College initiates Water Bell Programme at Adyar Padua Govt Primary School

Mangaluru, Feb 26: Under the banner of Unnat Bharath Abhiyan, Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management conducted an awareness about the benefits of drinking water. The programme started with a formal function. Free water bottles were distributed to all the students. Videos on the importance of drinking water were shown and fun-learning activities were conducted to create awareness among the students.

Dr Srinivasa Rao Kunte, principal, Sahyadri College addressed the students and encouraged them to inculcate the habit of drinking water every day. Dr Rajesha S, dean-Academics interacted with the students and explained how water can help students stay fit.

The headmistress and staff of the school appreciated this initiative and thanked the Sahyadri Management. Shreelatha U A, Academics Administrative Officer, Dr Ravichandra K R, dean- Industry Connect, Prof Ramesh K G, Dean-Strategic Planning, Dr Vidyavathi, Professor, department of Business Administration, Dr Pushpalatha, Associate Professor, department of Computer Science & Engineering, Dr Rajesh, Associate Professor, department Mechanical Engineering, Suchitra, Assistant Professor, department of Business Administration, Rashmitha Girish Nishal, Student Welfare Officer and Ankith S Kumar, student counsellor were present at the programme.

Dr Rathishchandra Gatti, department of Mechanical Engineering and Mamatha, Research Assistant, department of Research co-ordinated the programme.
