Udupi, Feb 24: ‘Sankalpa Samavesha’ organised by district BJP Udupi and oath taking of ceremony of new district BJP president Kuylady Suresh Nayak was held at Sheshayana hall, Hotel Kediyoor, here on Monday, February 24.
State BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel administered oath to new district president Kuylady Suresh and immediate past district president Mattar Ratnakar Hegde handed over the BJP flag to him to mark handing over charge officially.
State BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel speaking at the convention said, “Golden era has begun in the nation. There are five MLAs and a MP and the district in-charge minister is also from BJP.”
“Congress is sailing without navigator and it is about to drown across the nation. BJP is a filled pot. There is no president in Congress to head the party and its party workers. Chief Minister Yediyurappa has gone through many difficulties after becoming CM. Let Udupi be a strong foundation for BJP. Let lotus of BJP bloom in every house.”
Udupi –Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karadlaje said, “All BJP leaders are not rich. BJP will not consider their economic status. It is important to build communication with booth level party workers, organizing party and meeting in order to win upcoming gram panchayat elections. It is important to encourage youths to join our party. We should give opportunity to new leaders to emerge in politics. The government and party, MLAs and party workers should work together for the success of party.”
“Congress is itself restricted to family politics,” said Shobha and criticized the opposition party.
Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary said, “The party should address the problems of party workers and need to have good rapport with booth level party activists. Only then a party can run smoothl.”
After receiving the charge, Kuylady Suresh Nayak said, “BJP is dominating everywhere and growing at large. Upcoming panchayat level election is a challenge for us. Government of India led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is implementing new policies to safeguard the nation. In this transformation period, we are fortunate enough to be part of this era and witness history.”
