Mangaluru, Feb 24: In a heart-wrenching incident, an aged mother and her middle-aged son died on the same day, ten minutes apart.

Juliana D’Souza (84) wife of Late Basil D’Souza, who was residing in Kaprigudda died out of shock when she was told that her son Nobert D'Souza (58), who had suffered head injury was not responding to treatment and had slipped into a coma on Sunday, February 23.

Ten minutes after his mother died, Norbert also breathed his last in the hospital.

The D'Souza family is in utmost grief after losing two family members on the same day.

    In company with Christ,
    Who died and now lives,
May they rejoice in Your kingdom,
where all our tears are wiped away.
Unite together again in one family,
to sing Your praise forever and ever. Amen.
