Mangaluru: St Agnes College delivers talk on 'Psychological Effects of Social Media'

Mangaluru, Feb 14: The department of Business Administration, St Agnes College (Autonomous) here organized an extension activity for std 8 and 9 students of St Joseph’s English Medium High School, Kulshekhar on the topic 'Psychological Effects of Social Media'.

The programme conducted under the guidance of Elson D’Souza, Asst Professor department of Business Administration aimed to create awareness on the negative impact of social media on students.

The headmistress of St Joseph’s English Medium High School, Kulshekar welcomed the group and thanked them for selecting a useful topic for the students.

The programme began with an action song led by Naazisha and group. Naazisha, Mirfath, Ashfiya, Shibani gave a presentation on 'Effects of Social Media'.



A skit was enacted by Amna, Muskaan, Hiba, Nilofer and Shibani on the topic 'Cyber Crime'. Games were conducted after the session and winners were rewarded.

The extension activity was successful and enjoyed by all the students who gave positive feedback of the programme.

Elson D'Souza brought the programme to a close with a message on 'Peer Pressure and how to overcome it'.
