Karkala: NITTE's Sarosh Institute of Hotel Administration holds charity event for orphanage

Karkala, Jan 29: The first-year students of Sarosh Institute of Hotel Administration, NITTE campus successfully organized 'SIHA KIDS 2020' - a charity event which was conducted for the children from 'Samvedhana' orphanage, here.

The children participated in the various activities.

The programme was inaugurated by Mariam, proprietor of Baker’s Treat, Falnir.

SIHA students conducted various activities and games for the children. In the afternoon, the kids were served sumptuous food which was prepared by the SIHA students.



Mariam sponsored cookies, juice and muffins for the children followed by lunch. There were a few more cultural activities and games. Winners of the games were awarded prizes. All the children who participated were given take away gifts.

Principal Prof Amar Z Cherian welcomed the gathering. Aju M, the staff coordinator of the event was also present on the dais. Student coordinator, Sathwik Rai rendered the vote of thanks. Vion and Tanusha compered the programme.
