Kasargod: Bus-bike accident - Rider killed, two injured

Kasargod, Jan 29: In an accident which happened near Manjeshwar on national highway 66 on Wednesday January 29 morning, a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation bus and a motor bike collided with each other. In this accident, the bike rider lost his life, while his wife and another person suffered injuries.

The deceased has been identified as Lokesh (30) from Kunjathur. His wife Shyalaja, and a pedestrian named Ravi sustained grave injuries. Both of them have been admitted into a hospital at Mangaluru.

It is learnt that the bus was moving at considerable speed at the time. The driver of the bus tried to avoid hitting the pedestrian. However, he lost control over the vehicle and it hit the motor bike, eyewitnesses stated.

Manjeshwar police have visited the spot and undertaken further action.

    Once again a scooter driver gets killed on account of a collision with the a bus. It is time that some restrictions are imposed on bus drivers and any one responsible for an accident should be ordered to go thorough a training program for a specified period before allowed to drive any bus again.

    really in tulunadu buss ppl drive like flight .. really who told u this mlore city govt. taking care nothing .. I was in the buss this bus drive like crazy fool .. no one public also open mouth totally unprofessional.. PPL in tulunadu just enjoy bus driver driving no one open MOUTH .. please any one get down shut the tire permanently so bus ppl learn the lesson .. this innocent ppl are dieing any sense here.. WHAT IS WRONG with ppl in tulunadu .. horrible public .. shame to india .. NO unity .
