Anti-CAA stir: Members of Bahujan Kranti Morcha block railway track

Mumbai, Jan 29: On Wednesday, members of the Bahujan Kranti Morcha blocked railway track in Kanjurmarg station during a protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens.
 
The organisation has called for a 'Bharat Bandh' on Wednesday.
 
 
Earlier, Modi had maintained that CAA implementation was necessary to correct a 'historic blunder' committed at the time of Partition. Besides, the Union Home Ministry has also said that the states opposing it lack the legal power to stop the enactment of the Citizenship Amendment Act.
