Mumbai: Namana Friends celebrate 15th anniversary

Mumbai, Jan 29: Namana Friends under the concept of patriotism, motherland and love of art celebrated its 15th anniversary Namanotsava 2020 for and gave away prizes. Vajradehi math Gurupura Raja Shekharananda swamiji blessed the occasion.

Billavara Association Mumbai president, Chandrashekar S Poojary presided over the programme. Beluvayi Mithabettu Barkemane Gopi Babu Poojarthi lit the lamp and set the programme in motion.

Retired commander Shamraj V Bhat Edaneeru, Navin M Anchan, Kairabettu Vishwanath Bhat, Narayana Shetty Nandalike, Ravindra S Kotian, Sridhar Uchil and Navin Shetty Innabalike were awarded prizes. Youth awards 2020 were presented to Surendra Kumar Shetty Marnad, Kishore Shetty Pilar, Nithesh Poojary Marnad, Diya Inna, Vaishnavi D Shetty, Advika Shetty, Bhavika B Suvarna and Theertha Polali. Vajradehishree released the poem ‘Saghavi Shatabhisha Nakshatra’ written by child poetess Aditi R Deshpande Bengaluru.



Cultural and entertainment programmes were held. Ashok Pakkala welcomed the gathering, gave an introduction, introduced the felicities and compered the hall programme. Nithesh Poojary Marnad, Theertha Polali, Kripa Poojary compered the cultural programme.
