Moodbidri, Jan 27: MITE is organizing a two day “Global Conference on Advanced Smart & Sustainable Technologies in Engineering” (GCASSTE-2020) on 30th & 31st January 2020 at our campus in Moodbidri. The conference is on emerging technologies in the field of Civil, Mechanical, and Electronics & Communication Engineering. The conference will be a platform for Researchers, Scientists, Academicians, and Industry Professionals from varied engineering fields coming together to solve critical engineering problems of the society.

The Global Conference had received 220 full-length papers from across the globe from countries like Dubai, Singapore, Indonesia, Nigeria and so on. After thorough scrutiny and review, 169 papers were selected and will be presented at different tracks in the two-day conference. The conference will be host to eminent keynote speakers from Singapore and Indonesia. In a matter of pride, the conference was successful in getting a grant of INR 4,56,667 from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi under the scheme of Grant for Organizing the Conference.

A press conference in the regard will be held in the MITE campus, Moodbidri on January 29, 2020, at 11.00 am with to profess the aim of the conference and the intended outcomes.
