Mangaluru: Ryan International school celebrates 71st Republic day

Mangaluru, Jan 26: India’s 71st Republic Day was celebrated on January 26, 2020, with great reverence at Ryan International School, Kulai, Mangaluru.

The day began with the guard of honour followed by a prayer to invoke the blessings of the Lord Almighty. The program began at 9:00 am. The chief guest of the day, Captain Vasanth K (Retd) was escorted by the principal Helen Lobo.

The chief guest then unfurled the national flag to the sound of the national anthem sung by the school choir. A tree plantation ceremony was organized.



The school echoed with patriotic fervour as the children danced to the tunes of patriotism, enacted skits and sang patriotic songs to mark the occasion. The students brought the stage alive with their passion and love for the motherland through their speeches in three languages.

The chief guest in his address urged the students to do their best and feel proud to be Indians. The celebration came to an end by singing the national song. The students dispersed with the image of the fluttering tricolour in their mind and heart.
