Beltangady, Jan 25: Police of town police station have arrested two people in connection with the murder of Narayana (45), a resident of Kaniyoor village of the taluk on the night of January 24.
Narayana was murdered between 9 and 9.20 pm on January 24 when he was going by walk at Pottukere of Kuvettu village. Narayana was assaulted on his head by the assailants. A case in this regard was filed by Santhosh (34), a resident of Kuvettu village of the taluk.
Annu alias Annaiah (24), a resident of Ashwath Nagara, Reshme Road, Odlnala village of the taluk and Siraj (25), a resident of Mayanagara, Mulunja of Uppala in the district of Kasargod in the state of Kerala are arrested by the police in this connection.
