Mangaluru, Jan 21: The annual sports meet 2019-20 of Sarosh Institute of Hotel Administration was held on Saturday January 18 at the Mangala Stadium upholding the aspects of sporting events.
Principal, Prof Amar Cherian declared the sport meet open and motivated the students to grab all the opportunities offered to them.
Principal, Prof Amar Cherian, sports director Vidhyadar Thakoor, sports in-charge Jogi K Joy, Student Council President Nithin Kamath, general secretary Rachel Judith Crasto, sports representative Shreyas Bopanna and all the teaching and non-teaching staff graced the occasion.
SIHA students marched in harmony signifying discipline and self-control. Thereafter, the events of the day began and all the students actively participated in the sporting extravaganza with zeal and enthusiasm. Various track and field events were conducted for the students. The winners of the various events were honoured with medals and certificates.
The spectacular day ended by rendering of the National Anthem.
