Mangaluru, Jan 20: The 'live' bomb which was found in an unattended bag in the premises of Mangaluru International Airport was detonated in a controlled manner. The bag containing the explosive was shifted in a container to an open ground in Kenjar.

The bomb disposal unit operating at Mangaluru airport took charge of safely disposing the explosive.

The bomb scare did not affect flight traffic and all flights arrived to the airport on time.

Earlier, a CCTV footage was released of the alleged suspect, who arrived the airport in an auto-rickshaw. The person wearing a white cap was seen moving suspiciously in the airport.

    That is the mystery !
May be some TNT or dynamites used in digging tunnels or breaking hard rocks (granite)
Why we should assume that it came from across the border ? What so ever, the bomb experts must have found out right details and we can come to know in due course.
    So far so good.

Happy that it was detected and defused before explosion, but why experts are not mentioning what sort of explosive it was? Crude, IED, etc?

Did any one in the vicinity felt the sound vibration of the blast ?
What could have been the result if at all the bomb had blasted before any one noticed it (God forbid)
Innocent people are the victims in such terror acts.

If he was involved you think he is stupid enough to drive his Auto to a CCTV monitored area and give a obvious clue to police ? dont think from ...

Whoever kept his may be a amature suspect , giving so many clues in such a monitored area. I guess some hidden hands other than the guy who kept this baggage there are involved, or may be the guy is mentally unstable or just tried to divert Security/Police attention from something, or he may have had some other major plans yesterday. This is my assumption. Some major plot was or is in plan i guess. No one would risk thier life to drop a bag in some secluded spot .
