Mangaluru, Jan 18: 'Champions don't give up; they get up!'

The little Karate Champs of Shakthi Residential School made the above quote come true.

Nihal P K of Grade 8 bagged four gold medals in various forms of Karate, within 15 days. In the JSKA International Karate Championship held in Mangaluru, he won gold in Team Kata and a bronze in Kumite.

In the inter-state Open Karate Tournament organized by Kamal Martial Arts, he bagged three gold in Kata, Kumite and Team Kata consistently.

In the inter-state Open Karate Tournament, Tamim Rumi of Grade 4 won silver and a bronze in Kata and Kumite respectively. Chiranth of Grade 8 won silver in Kumite.
In the fourth national-level Open Karate Championship-KBK Cup 2020 organized by 'The Champions Hub' Udupi, Chinmayee Bhat of Grade 8 and Siddi Vinayak Bhat of Grade 3 won silver and bronze in Kata respectively.

The management, principal, staff, Karate instructor and the students congratulated them on their achievements.
