Hubballi, Dec 10: Responding to the statement of CM B S Yediyurappa giving minister positions to all the disqualified MLAs, who have won the by-elections, minister R Ashok said, "There are many aspirants in BJP. However, DCM position will not be given to anyone. Regarding minister positions, the party will decide."

Speaking with the scribes in the city, R Ashok further said, "The people of the state have voted for a secured government. Yediyurappa's leadership is already there. Now BJP has got great strength. We will keep our word that was given to the disqualified MLAs. The chief minister and the senior leaders of the party will decide the future of those who have got defeated in the by-elections. There is no confusion among us. All our MLAs know that how our government came back to power and due to whom? So there is no pressure for ministerial position. BJP government will be as solid as a rock for the next three and a half years.

"Sharath Bacchegowda will not be taken into the party again. Disciplinary action will be taken for getting involved in anti-party activities."

Attacking former CM Siddaramaiah, R Ashok said, "Siddaramaiah and his astrology department has shut down completely. One group of Congress is conducting meetings over and over again to remove him from the party itself. But it is better that Siddaramaiah continues as opposition leader. If he is there Congress will get divided into three factions. He has split all the political parties with which he was associated before also. All his predictions have turned to be false. Now it has become crystal clear that he is a liar."
