Mangaluru, Dec 10: The department of Physics, St Aloysius College (SAC) is organising a unique workshop on the theme ‘Physics of Toys’ from December 13 to 14, in association with IISER Pune.
Ashok Rupner from IISER Pune, will demonstrate and train the participants to make toys from the unused items and explain the physics behind its working. Dr Arun Isloor from NITK suratkal will inaugurate the workshop and Fr Dionysius Vaz, SJ, rector, St Aloysius Institutions will preside over the inaugural function.
A competition 'Make Your Own Toy and Explain the Physics behind It' is arranged in connection with this workshop and a unique blend of vocal music and toy making is also arranged.
