Doha, Dec 9: Uttara Karnataka Balaga (UKB) Qatar, well known as UKB is celebrating its first annual day of the association on December 13 at 4 pm, in DPS – Monarch International School, Wukair. The celebration consists of several famous personalities, singers and artists performing on a single stage bringing the joy, grandeur and making the day memorable to cherish.

Well-known Kannada Folk Poet (Janapada-kavi) Gyanpeeth awardee Dr Chandrasekhar Kambar, prominent actor, fondly called Real Star Upendra, film & drama actor, theatre artiste Yashavant Sirdeshpande, Kannada play back singer Nagachandrika Bhat, film directors Lokanath and Rajaram and anchor Yogesh Mirjan will grace this event.

Gyanpeeth Awardee Dr Chandrashekhar Kambar will be the chief guest for this maiden event from UKB, and Real Star Upendra will be the guest of honour. Along with them, Dhiraj Kumar, ASO (labour & community welfare), from Embassy of India, Doha, Qatar, will be the special guest for the event. The cultural fiesta will have performances by members of UKB.
