Mangaluru: Sejal D’Souza bags first prize in public speaking

Mangaluru, Dec 5: Sejal D’Souza Mudipu won first prize for her speech on ‘plastic-free life’ at high school division public speaking competition on Mangaluru diocese level on December 1 at Beltangady by Indian Catholic Sabha Mangaluru deanery.

She had received first prize in public speaking competitions held by Talent Research Foundation on National Education Day, November 11 on the title ‘The part of Bharat Ratna Moulana Abdul Kalam Azad in the formation of new India'.

She had also bagged first prize in the 52nd Konkani public speaking competition held by Konkani Nataka Sabha, Mangaluru on the subject ‘Mojem bhavish ashen roopith zaun’ (May my career be formed in this manner).

She is an eighth standard student of Vishwamangla High School Konaje. She is the daughter of Kananthur, Mudipu residents Leo D’Souza and Sarita Sequeira couple.
