Mumbai University Kannada department releases four books

Mumbai, Dec 2: Mumbai University, Kannada department and Karnataka Sangha Mumbai in a joint programme held at Kalina campus, Vidyanagari on Saturday released four books written by different authors. Karnataka Natak academy former president, J Lokesh, lit the lamp and released the books.

The programme was presided over by the university Kannada department head, Dr G N Upadhya. The books were written by Anita P Takode, Dr G N Upadhya, Surekha H Devadiga and Dr Poornima S Shetty.



Chandrahas Rai sang a prayer song. Karnataka Sangha honorary secretary, Omdas Kannangar welcomed the gathering. Former vice president of Karnataka Sangha, Dr Bharatkumar Polipu introduced the guests. Kannada department assistant professor, Dr Poornima S Shetty compered the programme and rendered the vote of thanks.
