Udupi, Nov 21: Deputy Commissioner (DC) of the district G Jagadeesha said that the work of sand distribution to the public and other developmental works of the district will start on November 23 via E-Sand app. Those who are in need of sand should apply online for the same.

The DC also said that the sand distribution through the E-sand app will start at 10 am on November 23. Under any circumstances, the sand will not be distributed to anyone outside the district.

It is decided to supply the sand that is available from the silting process that is in progress at the Baje dam of the district to the public and developmental works of government. Those who want to transport the sand are requested to register their vehicles on the Udupi E-Sand App.
