Ramdas Kamath from UAE donates Rs 15 lac for newborn tiger cubs at Pilikula

Media Release

Mangaluru, Nov 15: Abu Dhabi entrepreneur Ramdas Kamath and his wife Jayashri Kamath donated Rs15 lac to Pilikula Biological Park, for construction of animal houses for the newly born five tiger cubs.

It may be recalled, recently tigress ‘Rani’ gave birth to five cubs.

After visiting Pilikula, Ramdas promised to provide more financial help for the development of the park.

Park authorities have decided to name the cubs as suggested by the Kamath couple.

At present Pilikula has 13 tigers including five cubs.

Lalith mangalore, one side you are right.but a hard truth is very soon these special species are to be seen only in zoos.Hardly seen in wild life.People have killed them either for their skin ,bones for medicine mostly in china :By us too because they kill animals ,people too when nothing available. It is our right to preserve them for the future generation .Their living place is occupied by people to build houses, for cultivation. When someone has contributed towards this ,let it be .They love them. They must be having some meaning for their good deed.Poor people, children are there,Somehow they will be looked after with Gods help.It is left to each of us to take this with which mind set.

Fully agree with you Nithin. So many people & organizations donate for poor & sick people but very few people donate for animals . Some people can't digest that also .
