Mangaluru: Career guidance programmes at plus two colleges in Kannur held by St Agnes College

Mangaluru, Nov 15: The staff and students of the department of Secretarial Practice, St Agnes College, conducted career guidance programmes at three Plus two (PU) colleges in Kannur.

The colleges were, Government Vocational Higher Secondary School, Kendriya Vidyalaya and St Theresa School.



The team presented the various options available for higher studies and the relevant job opportunities on completion of degrees in Arts, Science, BCA, BBA and Commerce to the PU students. This was done with special reference to the Arts programmes as per the request of the principals of these colleges.

The team consisted of Shanthi M. Nazareth, dean of Arts and HOD of Secretarial Practice, Dr Nancy H Vaz, associate professor, department of Secretarial Practice, Maria Antony, student, final year BA, Mihika, student, II Year BA. Krisnendu, vice-president, BBA, also joined the team to present her viewa on the BBA and Commerce programmes. The sessions were well appreciated by the staff and students of the three PU colleges.
