RTA announces free parking in Dubai for birthday of Prophet Muhammad

Nov 9, Dubai: Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) on Thursday announced free parking in the city on account of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

"All public parking will be free of charge (except the multi-storey parking), on Saturday November 9," the RTA said, as quoted by Khaleej Times. "Tariff will resume on Sunday November 10," it added.

On account of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad, free parking has been announced in Abu Dhabi as well.
