Mangaluru: Wencita Dias to represent India in ‘Miss Teen World Super Model’

Mangaluru, Oct 22: Wencita Dias from the city won the title Miss Teen Karnataka - 2019 and is chosen for ‘Miss Teen World Super Model of the World’ pageant which is going to be held at Bangkok, Thailand from November 13 to 17.

The three days grooming was conducted by Fashion ABCD at Hotel Mothi Mahal in the city, especially for Talent round, physical fitness, introduction round, question round and ramp walk. The pageant was held for two titles Miss Teen Karnataka -2019 and Miss Karnataka - 2019. More than 100 contestants from various parts of the state took part in this contest. After a Nail biting competition, Wencita Dias won the title Miss Teen Karnataka -2019. Earlier, she has also won title of Miss Mangalore beauty pageant.

Wencita easily humbled the challenge posed to her by models in the audition round conducted by the concern, Fashion ABCD which was held at Sizzling Guys. Height of the models, public speaking, general knowledge, knowledge about the country etc were the basis for the selection in these auditions.

An elated Wencita said, “I am very interested in acting and modelling. It is a proud moment for me because now I am going to represent my country in Thailand. My parents are my backbone and through their moral and emotional support, I bagged this title. The initial rounds were very tough. But my mentors and grooming classes made everything easy for me. Now I am confident of giving a tough fight in Thailand where contestants from 40 countries are participating.”

Wencita is a first year PU Student of St Agnes PU College, Mangaluru. She is the daughter of Walter and Jyothi Dias residing at Nagori, Mangaluru.
