Puttur, Oct 22: Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) case is slapped on the youth, who was found in the company of a girl from different community at a lodge in the town, by the women's police of the town.

Abdul Tayyad, a resident of Mumbai, had come to Puttur and had called the local college girl to his room in the lodge. The leaders of the Hindu outfits, who got the information about this matter had informed the police of the same. The police who took into custody the couple and conducted an inquiry in the presence of the parents of the girl. During the inquiry it was unearthed that Abdul Tayyad had come to the same lodge four months ago and stayed with the girl.

Abdul Tayyad

The girl, during the inquiry, confessed that he had enticed her to come to the lodge. Based on the complaint filed by the girl, a case of POCSO is slapped on Abdul Tayyad in the women's police station of the town. The girl is sent to home with her parents.

The leaders of the Hindu outfits have filed a complaint in the police station against the lodge owner also. In their complaint, the Hindu outfit leaders have said, "Though the youth had come outstation state, room is given to him without conducting any inquiry. This kind of irresponsible behaviour of the lodge management promotes immoral activities."

Still for me it is a mystery why the boy came all the way from Bombay to mangalore to meet this girl for the second time.

Sure not with good intention.second girl files case now after police came to know.why did she not done for the first time.?Did he wanted the girl take to mumbai and sell her there ?or take to syria?we dont know..

Her parents must have not known their activity for the first time. Nowadays digital methods keep everything in dark.one side we cant blame the parents. But staying away from home too must be questioned.

Classic case of "Girl got scared after getting caught, ditched the guy and filed a case". Poor guy, came all the way to get some action. Now only action he gets is from the cops.

Watch out !! There are increasing incidences of young boys from our bordering neighboring state come to all the way Mangalore with their flashy cars/perfumes and park in front of women's college. The gulf money and lack of freedom for women in thier own locality make these boys to come to Mangalore and ruin our reputation..

The boy came alone for the second time all the way from Mumbai and stayed at the lodge? How did his parents allow this? It needs money to travel, pay the lodge and pay for food. Perhaps, conversion was worth it?

I would blame the boy or the girl only if they haven't used any contraceptives. Because that could lead into complications later on. Having sex is not taboo!!

How can u blame girls family?? Then blame boys family too., Even they have parented him poorly.. but the point here is not about parenting, kids have mind of their own, they are too eager to explore..

People before commenting please understand what is Pocso...if the girl is minor and guy is adult he will be booked no matter if the girl volunteered or not.. hence it's important for the adult to know what is the girls age..
When people are not understanding this little detail, then I see there is a lot of problem in our country..

Being a Mumbaikar, aware of ground realities, in the metropolis..... There are shady joints, active in the city, yet Hotels, guest homes, even rental flat owners, are acutely aware that messing up with the law n police, would certainly be catastrophical !!This rat, was well briefed, regarding friendly people layed back ambience, lax surveillance perfect place, to commit any crime !!! Criminals cannot survive, without adequate, ground support.... This is a very heinous crime.... Mumbai police too will grill this rat, and make him spill out, the entire game plan !!!!!!

There is neither conspiracy nor any agenda.
All the funda is of age. Particularly Teen age.
Boys have no idea about the consequences.
Girls have no fear at all.
Parents should keep an eye on their wards.

This boy must be having some local supporters who helped him in approaching the lodge.
Teens must have got the taste of each other’s company and they were on a second venture to explore further. How and why the hotel management did not exercise enough care or inform the police on earlier incident. They must have been influenced by money flow. Chicks want to explore the world before they exit out of the eggshell.

Girl didn't know why she was going to a lodge?
Poor parenting is to be blamed.
Girls should also be punished for enticing young boys.
Girls are always rescued or sent home. It's men who have to pay for everything.
Indian law has unlimited loop holes and to top it all its filled with corrupt officers.

Even if it is girl's fault according to our law she is a minor and no action will be taken. Consent or no consent doesn't have any weightage here.

Because boy is an adult according to his age by law and the girl is underage according to law...POSCO law is a special law applicable for offences against underaged children.
