Mangaluru: St Agnes College(Autonomous) launches six-day workshop on Mobile App Development

Mangaluru, Oct 21: The department of Computer Applications will be organizing a workshop on ‘Mobile App Development’ from October 21 to 26 for the BCA students.

The main objective of the workshop is to provide a comprehensive theoretical and hands-on practical experience on Mobile App Development using Android. The workshop will include most of the basic concepts of Android application development.

The workshop was inaugurated by the chief guest, Hareesh Neermarga, managing director and CEO Accolade Tech Solutions Mangaluru, vice-principal, Sr Dr Venissa A C and the head of the department of Computer Applications, Malavika Shetty.



Harish Neermarga spoke on the importance of mobile apps in today’s market. "Mobile app developers are in great demand nowadays because of the growing number of internet users and subsequent increase in mobile apps."

Sr Dr Venissa A C told the students that by participating in the workshop, they were on the right path to learning and pursuing a career in mobile application development.

Thirty one students participating in the workshop will be trained by three subject experts from Accolade Tech Solutions.

Aafreen, the student secretary of the department welcomed the gathering. Malavika Shetty, head of the department of Computer Applications proposed the vote of thanks. Swedel was the MC.
