Mangaluru, Sep 23: There is a possibility of low pressure building up in the Bay of Bengal in the coming days. This might result in coastal and south interior parts of Karnataka receiving rains with strong winds according to the forecast given by the meteorological department.

According to the weather forecast department from September 25 there is a possibility of heavy rains with thunder and winds for four days in coastal districts and south interior parts of the state. At the same time, the department has alerted the fishermen and residents of beach areas to be cautious of the expected weather conditions.

On Sunday, September 22 the rains have weakened in most parts of the coastal districts. There was intense sunshine during most part of the day. Though cloudy weather was noticed in between, it did not bring any rain.
