Mangaluru: Karavali Kalavidara Okkootta holds ‘Swarakudla’ Season 2 auditions

Mangaluru, Sep 21: Karavali Sangeetha Kalavidara Okkoota Dakshina Kannada and Udupi held Season 2 auditions ‘Swarakudla' for their 12th anniversary at Don Bosco auditorium, here on Wednesday September 18.

Well known engineer and smart city general manager, Arun Prabha inaugurated the programme. Mangala music club founder, Vimal Keethi Jain was present as chief guest.

Okkoota president Mohammed Iqbal gave an introduction and welcomed the gathering. Former president Jagadish Shetty, Muraleedhar Kamath, Mallika Shetty, Navagiri Ganesh, Damodar Bhagavat, vice president Vidya Kamath, treasurer Ivan Richard D’Souza, office bearers Ranjan Das, Sharath Uchil, Subhashith, Vidya Suvarna, Gurupriya Nayak, Dinaker, Dhanuraj, Santhosh, Anchan, Suresh Shetty and convener Mohan Prasad were present.

Famous artistes Srinivas Bhagavath, Dinesh Kinnigoli and Prakash Mahadevan were the judges. Organizing secretary, Krishna Prasad compered the programme. Chief secretary, Ramesh Salian rendered the vote of thanks.
