Air Marshal RKS Bhadauria promoted as chief of Indian Air force

New Delhi, Sep 19: The central government appointed Air Marshal RKS Bhadauria as the new chief of Indian Air Force on Thursday. RKS Bhadauria, will will take charge from his predecessor BS Dhanoa who will retire on September 30.

Air Marshal RKS Bhadauria, PVSM, AVSM, VM, ADC, is an alumnus of National Defence Academy, Pune. He has clocked over 4250 flying hours and has experience of over 26 different types of fighters.

RKS Bhadauria, during his career spanning three and half decades, has been awarded several medals including the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal, the Vayu Sena Medal and the Param Vishisht Seva Medal.
