Panaji, Sep 18: Minister for industries, Vishwajit Rane, on Tuesday, announced that the state will set up four clusters of Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME).

The statement came soon after his meeting with Union minister Nitin Gadkari in Delhi.

As per TOI report, the minister said that the centre has approved the start of four clusters and full swing operation will start after final approval is received. “I am vigorously pursuing the matter with them. I am slated to meet more officials on Wednesday,” said Rane.

MSME secretary, Arun Panda and other key officials of the ministry were also present at the meeting.

“With the help and support of the centre, MSME sector, that was largely neglected earlier, can grow at a great level. To bring in the economic development, it has been a dream of my ministry to have such a large-scale project in Goa,” added the minister.
