Udupi, Sep 18: Kota Srinivas Poojary has said that he is bound by the decision of the party. “The party takes certain decisions from time to time. Chief minister B S Yediyiurappa called me and given me the portfolio of Mangaluru in charge minister. I have accepted it with all humility as a party activist,” said Kota Srinivas Poojary. He was speaking to reporters responding to the anguish expressed by Billavas community for not having made him Udupi district in charge minister.

He said, “I do not know how the leaders reacted or spoke. We will welcome all the ministers in charge appointed by the chief minister. The complete cabinet expansion is not over. Some are joining our party after resigning.

“There can be controversy during limited opportunity and increased demand. CM has the responsibility of taking the party forward after getting over them. All of us have to support the chief minister during such situation. We will unite and work together,” he said in Udupi.
