Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Sep 18: Three persons, who have been accused of damaging buses which were parked for the night by throwing stones at them, have been arrested by the Mulky police.

The miscreants arrested for the above offence happen to be Samsheer M (27), and Abdul Sattar (21), both from Peraje village in Bantwal taluk, and Mohammed Riaz (28) from Nehrunagar, Narikombu.

Miscreants, who arrived during the wee hours of September 4 between 2 and 3 am, had pelted stones at five buses which were parked at Kinnigoli Batttakody and near Kateel petrol bunk before fleeing. These areas fall under the jurisdiction of Mulky police station.

The scene of damaging the buses was recorded in the CCTV camera installed near the petrol bunk at Kinnigoli. Separate cases were registered about these incidents in Mulky and Bajpe police stations. A special police team had been formed to investigate the incidents.

On Tuesday September 17, the accused were taken into custody from Kolnad near Mulky. A Maruti Alto car, used by them when committing the offence, was seized.

The operation was conducted by police inspector, Anantapadmanabha, sub-inspector, Sheetal Alagur and other staff under the leadership of Mangaluru (north) assistant commissioner of police, Srinivas Gowda.

It is very sad to see such behaviour of our youth. May be they want to begin their rowdy file. Surprisingly even in colleges youth are badly damaging property & these youth are ones who are aspiring to go to Gulf for work after studies. Is it becoz of the social environment or overdose of democracy?

well, all these petty crimes can be blamed on parents and upbringing . Some parents make children without any responsibility. These attitudes can be changed only if a proper education is inculcated while growing up. This is a criminal for parents not to teach their ward even basic decipline of life how to conduct themselves in the soceity and see them suffer like this later. what benefit these Idiots will get other than disturbing the public order.

What is the purpose or intention of damaging others property.

Best punishment would be to force them to do community service every day for a year. Like cleaning the streets, managing traffic at intersections, paint the govt school walls..etc. Putting them in jail is a burden to tax payer. Hopefully this will reform them. Jail don't serve any purpose.

No no no first aeroplane ride.... then hair cut... After aeroplane ride, they will not raise their hands to stone at saloon... Unnecessary causing loss to public property/extra work to police department... We should learn to safeguard the properties of our city, no matter whomsoever they belong to! After all only owners are not using all by himself.. It's for the public... If we take care of everything. thinking its my property, no doubt our city will be the smartest city...

My point was not to justify thier act.Infact i was trying to say that any hairstyle can nver be associated with crimes. It's ones personal liberty and associating it with crime or narcotics is unacceptable. We could see many people commenting on hairstyle.Criminal can be anyone even with a descent haircut.
