Ras Al Khaimah, Sep 15: A team of paramedics led by Mohd Al Shdaifat saved residents from their accommodation in Ras Al Khaimah.

The paramedics received a distress call from a resident who reported the unconscious state of her workmates.

When Al Shdaifat's and his team arrived at the scene they suspected a gas leak to be the cause. The affected group was then given first aid and moved to a hospital in the vicinity.

Fearing further injury to people around, Al Shdaifat with the help of police cleared the area. As they were clearing the building, in one of the rooms the team found a Filipino woman lying unconscious. Without further ado, the team carried her out of the room and took her safety.

Since then, the team is being lauded for their effort to save lives.
