Puttur: National level management fest Facula-2019 ‘Monarch’ held at SPC

Puttur, Sep 14: The department of Business Administration, St Philomena College Puttur organized national level management fest Facula 2019-‘Monarch’ for UG and PU students on September 11 at the college auditorium.

Operation manager, Tabco Emirates LLC Dubai Shivakiran Rai inaugurated the fest and delivered the inaugural address. He said, “Student life is the most important part of human life. During this period everyone should try his best to make the optimum utilisation of the available opportunities.”

Campus director and chairman of the PG Centre Fr Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro participated as the guest of honour.

Principal Prof Leo Noronha delivered the presidential address.

Vibha and Sinchana performed the prayer. The HoD of Business Administration Radhakrishna Gowda welcomed the gathering. Student coordinator Vibin T T rendered the vote of thanks. Anuradha Bharadwaj compered the programme.

In the valedictory function, head and dean of Commerce Prof Maxim Carl participated as the chief guest. He complimented the prize winners of Facula-2019.

Staff Coordinator Abhishek Suvarna, convenor of Management Association Prashanth Rai, faculty members of the department Pushpa N and Harshith R coordinated the programme.

At the UG level, 11 teams have participated and overall championship was bagged by St Aloysius College (Autonomous) Mangaluru and the runner up trophy was bagged by SDM College (Autonomous) Ujire. At the PU level, 10 teams have participated and SDM PU College Ujire emerged as the champions and Vivekananda PU College Puttur secured the runner up trophy.

President of Management Association Fathima Faiza welcomed the gathering. Loyd Joystan Suares presented list of prize winners. Deekshith P rendered the vote of thanks. Maithri K B compered the programme.
