Funny memes, jokes on #oddeven scheme flood Twitter

New Delhi, Sep 13 (IANS): Soon after Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday announced that the Odd-Even scheme will be back between November 4 and 15, several memes, jokes and videos with #oddeven hashtag have gone viral on social media such as Twitter.

Twitterati shared funny reactions and jokes on the scheme's comeback.

Here are some of the funniest posts:

A Twitter user named @sagarcasm tweeted: "I don't think Arvind Kejriwal and Piyush Goyal get along very well. Kejriwal loves doing Odd-Even and Goyal hates maths. #OddEven."

"I'm not following this ridiculous #OddEven. Fine me, arrest me. There, I said it. @ArvindKejriwal, you ignorant, lazy, freak - vehicular emissions barely scratch the surface of the ocean causing air pollution," a woman with username @MeherunissaA tweeted.

Another person shared a picture of Bollywood actor Jimmy Sheirgill with his popular movie dialogue 'Humko Ghanta Faraq Nahi Padta' and also wrote with caption: "Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced that the #OddEven scheme for vehicles will be implemented in Delhi from 4 to 15 November. People who go on metros - #OddEven."

"#oddeven #SayItLikeNirmalaTai #BoycottMillenials #BoycottMillennials, everyone freaking out with traffic fines and odd even. *Le me*, a millennial destroying economy taking odd/even numbered Uber/Ola," another user tweeted.

"Delhites, get ready to welcome #oddeven #evenodd once again..this time from 4-15 Nov. @ArvindKejriwal, instead of finding a solution to crop burning and stopping it, its so easy to make us suffer, right? We don't mind any PLANS to curb stub burning?" another tweet read.

Kejriwal said the Odd-Even scheme was aimed at combating high-levels of air pollution in winters due to crop burning in neighbouring states.
