Mangaluru: Blood donation camp held by Rotaract Club of Sarosh Institute of Hotel Administration

Mangaluru, Sep 13: As a corporate social responsibility, the Rotaract Club of Sarosh Institute of Hotel Administration in association with the Indian Red Cross Society KSHEMA, organised a blood donation camp.

The camp inaugurated by lighting a lamp by the guest Dr Sumalatha Shetty, professor of Anesthesiology department coordinator NSS unit, Lion Chandrahas Rai president Lions Club here, Lion Nagesh Kumar dist coordinator- Blood donation camp Mangaluru, Lion Shridhar Rah Shetty Treasurer Lions Club Mangaluru, Veda J Rai senior lecturer of SIHA, Rainha Barretto, Rotaract officer SIHA.



15 staff from KSHEMA volunteered for the camp. Around 34 students including faculty from SIHA voluntarily donated blood.

A seminar was conducted by Dr Sumalatha Shetty on Dengue awareness and a talk on the importance of blood donation was presented by Ashwathi, final year PG student KSHEMA.
