Bombay high court gets four new judges

Mumbai, Aug 22:
 Four more judges have been added in Bombay high court bringing the total strength to 68, still short of the required number 25. The four new judges inducted in the court are from among lawyers practising at the bar; Avinash Gharote, Nitin Suryawanshi, Anil Kilor, and Milind Jadhav.

On Wednesday, before the induction, the law ministry issued a notification regarding the addition of the four judges.

One of the judges, Milind Jadhav, is from Mumbai who is well versed in handling cases like securities scam, land acquisition and matters related to public premises. All the four judges will be sworn within this week.
