Udupi: Milagres College Kallianpur launches Commerce association

Udupi, Aug 21: Inauguration of Commerce association activities of Milagres College, Kallianpur for the academic year 2019-20 was recently held at A V Hall.

Dr Amithabh Anand, assistance professor, SKEMA Business School, France, inaugurated the Commerce association and addressed the gathering. He is the recipient of several awards in and around the country for his research and teaching.

Dr Anand is also the only one in Europe whose name is in the top 50 most outstanding professors in the world. He spoke to the gathering about his inspiring and motivating life experience, from a failure in subject to a successor today. He also expressed his views about unity in the association.

The principal Dr Vincent Alva, delivered the presidential remark, dean of Commerce department, Dr Herald Monis addressed the students. Convenor of the Commerce association Radhika Patkar was present. Master of ceremony was Selma Picardo of I BCom ‘B’. Prayer was led by Shayona and group. Welcome speech by Reeshel of II BCom. ‘B’. Introduction of the chief guest by Rimza Zakir of III Bcom ‘A’ and Abdul Shaheem of III Bcom A propsed vote of thanks .

The following students were appointed as office bearers of Commerce association 2019-20.

President- Mohamed Anfal, vice president - Abdul Shaheem, secretary - Rimza Zakir, joint secretary - Heeral Crasta.
