Bengaluru: CM Yediyurappa to form cabinet on August 20 finally

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (RJP)

Bengaluru, Aug 18: BJP president Amit Shah who met chief minister (CM) B S Yediyurappa on Saturday has approved the list of legislators to be made ministers and accordingly the CM will form his cabinet on Tuesday, August 20.

Yediyurappa held a detailed discussion with Shah on the formation of the cabinet.

The CM will chair the BJP legislature party meeting at the Vidhana Soudha on Tuesday morning before the cabinet is formed in the afternoon. The names of legislators to be inducted in the council of ministers have not yet been disclosed.

Though it was not clear how many members will be inducted as ministers, some sources said that for now, it would be around 12 to 15.

The sources revealed that BJP has also decided to keep around 15 slots vacant for the disqualified MLAs. Among the 17 disqualified MLAs, some of them may be inducted based on the outcome of the Supreme Court judgement. All of them have appealed against their disqualification.

As per the information available now, there will be no deputy chief minister’s post. The party will give preference to loyalty, experience and young faces. As part of the party’s strategy to expand its base in south Karnataka, it may induct more leaders from that that region.

On Friday, BJP national general secretary B L Santosh and Yediyurappa had finalised the list and submitted it to working BJP president J P Nadda.

Now it is confirmed that CM Yediyurappa second visit after the floods is not for flood victims or relief but just for cabinet expansion.

This itself shows that the priority of the BJP government is never people in distress but to cling to power.

Its not proper to call lucky, BSY has worked hard to bring the BJP into this majority, From just 2 MLA seats to 100+ is not a simple task, He worked day and night for the party and he richly deserves to be the CM as long as he wants to be.

BSY might have won it for BJP initially.
However he lost it when his own men schemed against him.
Remember 3 CMs,Advanijis disliking for him,Santosh Hegde etc etc ??
Now if BJP has 80 odd MLAs , 25 MPs it is only because of Narendra Damodardas Modiji....
    ...And BSY knows it...

Doesn't look like anybody from the coastal region is getting anything. Most news channels broadcasting names of MLAs and portfolios did not even consider one single name from this particular region. It's gonna be a huge task for Yeddy to keep his flock in control, it's all going to go haywire as plenty of unsatisfied MLAs will start playing the same dirty games that happened in the previous govt.

And of ofcourse, there's no need for the disqualified MLAs to be waited, they have hit the axe on their legs and their entire future.
