Mumbai: Saphalya Seva Sangha observes day in Ashada month’s local delicacies

Mumbai, Aug 16: The ladies' wing of Saphalya Sangha held a programme of traditional local cuisine at Gurukul College of Commerce Swagath auditorium, Ghatkoper east on Sunday evening under the guidance of Safalya sangha president Srinivas P Safalya.

Competitions on preparations of delicacies in the month of Aati (Ashada) for community women, on conversations for students, preparations of hand bills, discussions for men and other programmes were held. President Srinivas P Safalya and office bearers distributed free books to school children, presented prizes to competition winners and felicitated the donors.



Office bearers were present. Ladies wing members sang a prayer song. Vice president Vimala Bangera welcomed the gathering and gave an introduction. Kalavati Putran introduced the judges. Harshad Safaliga and Divya Safaliga conducted the competitions. Secretary Kala Bangera rendered the vote of thanks.
