Shivamogga: ‘Government cannot print notes’ - Controversial statement by CM BSY

Daijiworld Media Network - Shivamogga (MS)

Shivamogga, Aug 14: Chief minister B S Yediyurappa's statement allegedly saying ‘Be careful while providing data, government cannot print currency notes’ has caused controversy.

The victims of the deluge that has created havoc in 17 districts of the state have not received any compensation. People of the flood-affected areas are still facing hardship. In the midst of this difficult scenario, CM reportedly gave the controversial statement while holding a meeting with regards to the scale of destruction with the government officials.

"You people are saying that the crop is lost because of the deluge. However, when the water recedes, the crop that is not affected cannot be taken into account. The government cannot print currency notes. Be careful while providing data on the losses incurred. Wait patiently for one week. Let there be sunshine and let all the water level get receded. Then give your estimate. Take your own time. We will not pressurize you," said CM Yediyurappa giving instructions to the officials.

The people of the state of Karnataka are totally devastate due to the floods and landslides. They have lost the property, houses and valuables that they built or accumulated due to years of hard work. The statement allegedly given by the chief minister during this testing time has irked the victims of the deluge.

Jailbird's high command did not have to print notes when they spent in excess of Rs. 25,000 crores during general elections neither did they print notes when they had to buy MLA's from JD(S) and INC in Karnataka through 'Operation Kamala'.

So the pertinent question is from where did BJP get so much money?

I hope this fellow doesn't become a wreck one day. He may be the CM but the strings are pulled from Delhi. His actions are monitored by his bosses. He is not even allowed to form the cabinet. At this age the poor fellow has to do all the running around himself. I feel the stress is getting on to him. This is what Modi and Amit Shah want. They are indirectly forcing him to do something that will invite opprobrium on himself and he hangs his boots so that they can bring in his replacement. He has to be on his toes all the time. Naturally, such atrocious statements are bound to come out of his stressed mind and mouth.

Mr. Yediyurappa, you do not have to print currency notes. If you and your MLA colleagues stop filling them in your pockets, there will be enough to meet the needs and more. If you cannot provide relief, step down for someone else who is more capable - perhaps your foe Siddaramaiah.

This is a threatening statement more than controversial. Yeddy is saying you will get what is predetermined a nominal amount irrespective of your losses. Whether the crop or propriety submerged or flown in water more than 10 days why wait for water to recede. It is completely ruined and lost, its a 100% loss. It's a wait and bait game by Yeddy to give peanuts to people and pocket maximum from the aid.

Chief minister B S Yediyurappa's says that his government cannot print currency notes.

But how can Kannadigas forget after the anti-corruption department raided Eshwarappa's Bangalore residence houses in 2012, Karnataka's BJP leader and former deputy chief minister K S Eshwarappa admitted that he owned several currency counting machines and that there was nothing illegal about it?

It there is no illegal money, why one would keep 'Currency counting machine' at home?

Eshwarappa says having a currency counting machine is no crime. So keeping a diary with paid details to the BJP's leaders is also not a crime.

CM Yedurappaji, Sensex crashes 623 points amid uninspiring corporate results, weakening the rupee. The nation has lost 13 lakh crores since the budget.

Now the only option left for the country is printing notes like 'Zimbabwe', to keep Mugabe of India in the ruling.

You reap what you sow, we must eventually face the consequences of our actions. We are the one who voted corrupt MLA in name of religion, caste. We don’t vote for those who promise us to give us better governance.
Government is collecting tax on each and every product from grocery items to even in life saving medicines. How come government does not have money to help his own citizens when they lost everything due to nature disaster. How come they had enough money to accommodate MLA in five-star hotels and private jets?
If government does not have money, then let them sale government property and help those who lost everything from the flood.
