Karkala: FDP on Integrated Water Resources Management held at NMAMIT

Karkala, Jul 23: Five-day FDP on ‘Integrated Water Resources Management’ was organized by the department of Civil Engineering in association with National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of NMAMIT, Nitte on the occasion of ‘Jal Diwas’ on Monday, July 22.

Dr M K Nagaraj, senior professor & dean, School of Engineering & Technology, CMR University, Bengaluru inaugurated the program and delivered a talk on 'Importance of Water Conservation and efficient usage of water resources'.

Dr I Ramesh Mithanthaya, vice-principal & dean at NMAMIT was the guest of honour. Dr Niranjan N Chiplunkar, principal, NMAMIT presided over the function.



Dr S K Mahadeve Gowda, HOD of Civil Engineering welcomed the gathering. Dr Bhojaraj, coordinator of the FDP briefed about the schedule of FDP. Thushar Shetty, co-coordinator delivered the vote of thanks. Janakraj was the master of ceremony.
