Koppal, Jul 20: Sri Vishweshateertha Swamiji of Pejawar Math, who is on a visit to Anegondi in the district relating to the desecration of the tomb constructed there in honour of Sri Vyasaraja by people searching for treasure, said that in his opinion, President's rule should never be imposed in Karnataka. He stated that a democratically elected government should rule the state.
Speaking to media persons, he noted that debate about the support enjoyed by the ruling coalition is going on in the state assembly and that if President's rule is imposed in the state that would be detrimental to democratic principles. "There is a need to form a government that is undisputed. Therefore, leaders of all the parties should actively consider this possibility," he suggested.
