Mangaluru: Student council inaugurated at Vikaas First Grade College

Mangaluru, Jul 20: “Authoritarian nature is not a welcome trait for a leader,” said Sharmila Mukesh Rao, vice-president of Dakshina Kannada PU Principal Association and principal of K Pandyarajah Ballal PU College, who was the chief guest of the inaugural function of student council of Vikaas First Grade College, and Commerce department of Vikaas PU College, Mangaluru, and swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected members of the council which was held on the campus of Vikaas Group of Institutions on Friday, July 19.

Quoting Swami Vivekananda, she motivated the council members to be responsible and inspiring leaders. The Council members were also presented with their badges by the chief guest. Dr Suneel B M, principal, Vikaas Pre-University College, administered the oath of office to the council members.



Ayshwarya K, principal, Vikaas First Grade College and coordinator of Commerce, Vikaas PU College, presented the yearly plan of the degree course which fully packed with curricular and co-curricular activities. Parthasarathi J Palemar, coordinator, Vikaas Group of Institutions and Dr Manjula A Rao, dean, Vikaas Group of Institutions, were also present on the occasion.

Vikas, BCom student, welcomed the gathering and Priyanka, second PU student, rendered the vote of thanks. Rachel Valentina D Sa, BCom student, compered the programme.
