Mangaluru, Jul 15: The feast of Mount Carmel was celebrated on July 15 at St Mary’s PU College, Falnir.
To commemorate this day, the senior sisters of St Mary’s Convent were offered a special invitation.
Sisters Helen Marie, Henrita, Maria Usha were present at the programme.
The event commenced with a prayer service followed by the significance of the day and a skit on prophet Elijah and ended with a dance.
Sr Sahaya Mary the principal of the college delivered the message. In her address she spoke about Mount Carmel, prophet Elijah and the history of the feast of Mount Carmel.
Melanie welcomed the gathering.
Aleefa and Ziya compered the programme.
