Mangaluru based girl bags three gold medals in state level skating championship

Mangaluru, Jun 27: Mangaluru’s Anagha bagged three gold medals in state level open speed skating championships 2019. She won the medals in skating championship for girls between the ages of nine and eleven years held at Rao’s skating rink from June 21 to 23.

She won the gold medals in 500 meter rink race, 1000 meter rink race and one lap road race, thereby becoming state level individual champion.

Anagha is the daughter of Mangaluru’s Dr Rajesh Hukkeri and Dr Anitha Rajesh couple and a student of fourth standard at Lourdes CBSE School, Bejai.

She is a member of Mangaluru High Flyers skating club and is trained by trainers Mohandas K and Jayaraj.
