Bantwal, Jun 27: Carmel College organized a faculty development programme on ‘Innovations in teaching'.

College principal Sr Dr Latha A C welcomed the resource person Dr Judy Pinto, former vice principal St Aloysius College, Mangaluru.

The programme started with the invocation to God which was led by Chandrika Rao lecturer in Hindi. In welcome speech. Principal Sr Dr Latha A C welcomed the gathering cordially. Principal introduced the resource person Dr Judy Pinto and mentioned her achievements to the participants.

The resource person started her discussion with the very basic idea of teaching, teacher and the impact of teachers on the students. She highlighted the importance of considering teaching as a vocation. The speaker emphasized the role of teacher as a key factor in shaping the life of the students.



The programme was closed with the vote of thanks by Madhura, lecturer in Economics.
