Woman rescued from Kuwait after duped by agent, thanks Indian govt

Daijiworld Media Network - Hyderabad (SHP)

Hyderabad, Jun 24: Several incidents surface where people are duped under false claims of getting employment in abroad. Recently, a similar incident took place where a woman from Hyderabad who was promised a job in Kuwait got conned.

The woman has since returned back to India, she thanked the Indian embassy and the Modi government for saving her from the ordeal.

“I would like to thank the Indian Embassy and Modi government for rescuing me from that hell. There are many agents here trying to dupe people. We should not believe anything these agents tell us,” said Rehana Begum.

An agent had approached Rehana and promised her a job in a saloon as a beautician. She was also promised over Rs 30,000 per month. On her arrival in Kuwait, she was employed as a housemaid and was the victim of torture. One fine day, Rehana called her daughter in India and explained her situation. The daughter immediately conveyed her mother’s condition to the Indian embassy who helped in getting Rehana back.

Lately, Indian embassy released a list of around 18 Indian based recruitment agencies who were aiming at conning people with jobs in Kuwait. The list was released after intensive research and observations by the embassy. The list is said to contain agencies from India and also Kuwait.

can you list down all the negative points from last 70 years. I never seen any appreciation words for Modi govt from your side. You are only enjoying by blame game. you are not ready to accept the reality. you are happy to praise only foreign countries & their leaders. you don't feel proud when any foreign country/leaders/organisation/media praise our PM as global leader.

You have only grabbed the fake and negatives new , even when the news is about the positive work of government you only talk false about it. Corruption was always before 2014 check your facts. Trump has imposed tariff not only on India even the China. Again check your facts.

India has also imposed tariff on US goods.

NRI feels more safe and connected.

About Iraq the whole world people there were killed, India did everything it could , It was a war zone, unfortunately they were all killed and the mass grave was found. VK Singh went to Iraq to bring back mortal remains after the DNA confirmation-@ David Check your facts before commenting false and fake news .

Nice to see all corner appreciation for our Modi team.
As i heard from many NRI's,they feel proud for the quick and committed response from indian govt in cases of emergency situation.
For that reason lacks of NRI's expending thousands of rupees participated and cast their valuable votes during last LS election.

Since Modi has been PM, every person in abroad whenever found helpless or in trouble, has been calling up External Ministry, & so do has been duly supported. 46 Nurses freed from captivity of ISISI in 2014, 2300 Indians lifted from Lebanon in June 2016, etc. are some such situations. But unfortunately, some have maintained the hatred with Modi over these years, despite receiving all help & support. At least will they ever realise & understand Modi now ?.. Only time can tell the tale.

Thank God this woman who was recued from Kuwait is back to India to reunite with her family by the help of Indian government. I hope that many Indians who are in trouble and still stranded for several reasons. My advice to all those seeking jobs in a foreign countries, especially in Gulf countries should sign documents for employment and have a copy of it. This will help you and the Indian embassy, in case you are having any problem. Then the Indian Embassy and the Indian government can help you as much as it can. I know there are many who are sailing in the same boat. Be bold and keep it up.

For Indians far away hill is greenary.

After so many incidents they go. If they come back safe lucky.

If our friends or relatives there we can go otherwise a foriegn country is not safe.

In India anywhere we can resign and come back within a day or even one hour. If we enter foreign country then coming back is not easy.
